How old is too old for this outfit? Eta

In your *opinion* of course. :)

Pix in replies.

ETA**So. I only ever ever ever wear jeans, tshirts/ sweatshirts and nikes.

Tonight was a pinkys-out fundraiser for our school. I wanted to wear something different but not all out, since I had never been to it before.

I did put the outfit on, though, and felt I was pushing it.

Even though most of you poo pooed it, I'm 31- and this is really an average look in my area. Maybe we're behind the times lol? Idk...

I def feel cute. Dh kinda got hot lmao.

I think it worked well, and is kinda normal for my area.

Early 30s? Just depends I guess. Maybe without the boots... I have ho idea though, I might feel totally differently if I saw it in person. But who cares what I think? It's cute and it fits well :)

It's the only skirt I own. I bought it a couple weeks ago.

Quoting veganistic:

And you could definitely extend the age appropriateness of the outfit by subbing the denim skirt for a different fabric (if you're concerned).

I know my daughter stopped wearing outfitls like that in high school.  I wouldn't wear it past that either.  Looks like what my daughter wore in Middle School

It looks cute on you. I'd say if you were 50+ it might look strange but you wear it well so enjoy!

Thank you! I should update the op.

Quoting love-my-tween:

I'm a lot older than most (if not all) of you, and so I'd say 30's would be fine.  Heck, some 30's I know look about 20.  The person in this pic, regardless of age, wears it well!

It's more of a climate thing than age for the boots.

Totally normal here.

I agree with tge skirt but it's all I really had.

Quoting frndlyfn:

I would find a basic black skirt instead of denim.  Denim is not dressy at all.  I do not like uggs past teen years on people.

Lol. Then screw it--as long as you like it, wear it!! It's pretty cute overall :)

Quoting AM-BRAT:

All I have is lots of nikes, these, rainboots and sandals lol. Not much variety.

Quoting rgba:

I think it would be fine with dressy shoes. It's the combo of denim skirt and Uggs that makes it a young outfit.

Quoting AM-BRAT:

This is as dressy as I own lmao. Pretty bad.

Quoting rgba:

I'm 40. At my age, I would either ditch the skirt for a dressier one, or ditch the boots.

I'm 28, and even tho I wouldn't wear that ever (it's just not my style) I would ditch the leggings and boots,or maybe try different color leggings
