My son turned 1 last week. Im going to switch him to milk now instead of formula. How often would he be getting bottles of milk? I havent had a chance to ask his dr yet. I still need to schedule his 1 yr visit.

He should be getting cups of milk with meals.

Our daughter is two and we have always given her a sippy or cup of milk with meals. She has constipation issues and the milk started affecting it, so we only do milk for breakfast and dinner, juice for lunch and water all the other times.

No more than 24oz a day. We started my son at 1 also with a sippie cup of milk with every "Meal" so three cups a day and he has water inbetween with snacks. It took him about 2wks to get used to the cup but now he is 15mo and happy and healthy. good luck.
