Is it normal for my 14 year old to have a emotional break down over his hair not being just right?

I remember boys like that from high school.
My boys are too young for that, but I guess it's coming (or something like it).

Well glad to hear that my son is completely normal then.  I was really worried that something else was wrong.  He even missed school because he was so distraut over his hair.
