the go to dinners in our house are usually tacos and spaghetti

I get recipes emailed to me from Real Simple magazine and I have tried quite a few of them, so I don't often find myself in a dinner rut

Oh yes and drives me bonkers.  I'm always looking for simple things.  Would love to use my crock pot more, but with work it's kind of hard.  I worry about leaving that thing all day.

Go to's would be Tacos, Spaghetti, some type of hot dish.

We go through rotations of dinners.  Then when we get bored of a certain thing, we ditch it and pick something else to put into the rotation.

Winter time, I make a lot of chili in my crockpot. After, I use some of the leftovers in spaghetti sauce. I just got a Jiffy mixes cook book in the mail, so I'll be trying a few thing out of it soon.

I plan menus to include variety.
When I don't have a lot of time, I prepare a quick but delicious spaghetti, or tacos or chili, or I plan ahead and use the crockpot.

I like a lot of variety so I often try new recipes. Go to meals? Something from the freezer. I do a lot of double cooking, eat helf and freeze the rest for another meal, so pulling a frozen meal or soup or chili out and heating it, making a salad and it's ready.

We have a great variety. I use my crockpot frequently, but with a good rotation of meats, soups, beans, etc.
My "go to" is sandwiches haha
Typically I have plenty of time to cook, but when I don't, yeah, sorry kids, a sammich for you! LoL
