The kitchen is often the center of many family activities! Adding just a few new (affordable) pieces can really brighten the mood. Today's challenge is to treat yourself to a new kitchen item!

Here are a few things you can do to spruce up your kitchen.

  • Add a centerpiece to your kitchen table.
  • Buy a new set of kitchen curtains.
  • Get a new mug for you!
  • Add a couple new kitchen towels.

Do you spend a lot of time in your kitchen? How often do you buy new things for your kitchen?

If you missed yesterday's activity, you can find it here. If you haven't signed up for the Restyle Your Life Challenge yet, you can do so here!

I am in my kitchen throughout the day. I buy something for the kitchen maybe once a year.

Yes I spend plenty of time in my kitchen. I give it a rest on Saturdays..lol. I haven't bought anything new for the kitchen since I replaced my fridge a couple of years ago. Everything works just fine.

I really want to sew some new curtains for our kitchen-but I haven't actively looked for a new fabric/print.  I know new curtains would breath new life into the room. Maybe over Christmas break?  That would be awesome!

I recently bought "new" cannisters for the itchen.  They're vintage 70s ones that I've been searching out for a few years.  I was thrilled to find the whole set!  We're moving so I packed them up as soon as I got home.  They will have a place of honor in our new klitchen!  I think the next purchase will be new potholders.  The old ones are getting pretty battle worn.

My kitchen needs a major re vamp! I think a brightly coloured rug would help it though.

I need Kitchen towels, I get new things every now and then, usually as the items I have wear out.
