Maybe due to the reflux, he is a bit more uncomfortable and just needs to be close to you. At 3 weeks old they need a lot of snuggling and soothing. Just put his basinett next to you and reach in there and pat him, see if that works. GL

I don't know. I've always been one to sleep with my babies. They grow inside us for 9 months so its only natural being close to us is comfort for them. If its reflux it probably hurts to lay flat. Think about when you had really bad heartburn during pregnancy. For me I needed to lay sitting up to get relief. Is there a way you can prop the mattress on a tilt?

Wish I had some advice for you. My son was underneath me until...wait he's four and still underneath me 😐

I guess when he feels better. Rub him while he's in his bassinet until he falls asleep.

he hates his bouncer but I usually at night jus let him lay wit me so we both can get sleep.
