My 3 year old has always been troubling about going to bed...she was a colicy baby...i've always tried to have a bed time for her but she fights me. i'm losing my mind sometimes. even my 5 month old goes to bed at 7pm everynight! we do the bath times before bed, read books, watch a movie before bed...i honestly dont know what to do anymore...

p.s for example last night she fought 4 hours to go to bed,  i usually try to put her in to bed my 9 but she didnt go to bed till 1am last night and she ended up waking my 5 month old and i didnt get to go to bed till 230am and my little one does wake up at 6am so i only got few hours to sleep...and so did my little one

I feel your pain. My son was never a great sleeper, either.

Have you tried books on CD?
My daughter has books on CD that she listens to in bed after we read books.
If she gets out of bed, other than to pee, I turn it off.

Works well for us. (She is 5 though)

Have you tried using bath wash with lavendar. I believe that's the ingredient that helps you sleep. Also, do you try to create a quiet environment where she can settle down before putting her to bed? Have you tried putting her to bed earlier? If you put her down around 7 maybe she'll fall asleep by 11. LOL! Good luck to you!

Um put her to bed and walk out. Do not speak to her again until morning. No more tv before bed that stimulates her. Is she napping during the day? What times is she getting up?

Does she nap during the day?  If so cut out the naps

This. We used to put DD to bed at 9 and she'd sing and talk to herself, get up multiple times before she fell asleep hours later, and still be up at 7. We cut out her nap and she now goes to bed at 730-8 and falls asleep quickly and stays asleep till morning.

Definitely cut out the nap. DD is a bit cranky some days, but she's doing great with out her nap. She's 3 1/2 by the way.
