What was the item you couldn't live without with your first child?
I'm 34 weeks pregnant , and a first time mommy. So I'd love to know what item you could NOT live without after you had your baby?

Hard to pick one. Each baby is different, we tried to get the essentials but it seems like each list was too long, and we ended up getting a couple of things in the first few days we didn't expect. What I would say now was gripe water (I made it - the store bought was too expensive to keep buying) and her 'sleepy sheep'. That is what we call her sleepy time sheep that plays waves (and other things but we liked the waves since it reminded us of a trip to Hawaii.) Swing was helpful too.

Pacifiers!!!! But that was 26 years ago before all this fancy stuff.

A carrier. My daughter didn't like being put down. It was a life saver and seriously worth the investment. Congrats!

My first son, it was the swing. My second, it was the bouncy seat. My third, it was the bouncy seat as well and a pack and play.

Our buggy. It was the 'old fashioned' type & used it as his bassinet & as a stroller. Love that thing!!
