has been soooo fussy! he got the shots on friday and had a low fever on sat and sun.  its mon now and his fever is gone but he is still very cranky and unhappy. he is usually a very mellow happy cooing baby.. how long after the shots was your baby fussy?  do you think somethings wrong or is this normal?

I think with my dd she was most fussy at her first immunization at 2 months and it was about 3 days.  She would cry every time she kicked her little legs (which is pretty much all they can do at 2 months) so her legs must have been pretty sore.  :-(  They say heat is good for a sore injection site so maybe a warm bath will help the lil' guy.

My kids weren't very fussy with their shots. They fell asleep after getting them. If you are concerned, you can always call your child's Drs. office and tell them your concerns. Have you been giving your LO Baby Tylenol? My kids Pedi told me to give them a dose a 1/2 hour before going in for their shots. It helped a lot! My kids never got a fever from their shots. Good luck!
