I have 2 kids my SIL has one, should I double her kids presents?
We usually spend $50 on the kids. But because I have two and she has one, should I spend more than the $50 since she is having to spend $100 on my kids????
I don't expect extra for son
No.. it's not about the price. Just make sure you buy your nephew/neice something that she may enjoy.
Christmas present issues can be very sticky. I know of a family that had 7 kids and the rest had only a few each. It kind of makes a hardship on the ones with only a few children. I know that your situation is only concerning 1 more child though. We only spend about 15-20 on other peoples children each. If you are wanting to be fair, you can start things off early by saying, "Lets let our kids draw each others names." That way everybody is only bringing as many gifts as they have kids. One of your two children will be drawing each others names, but its still fun. Just a suggestion. Currently, our family setup is to bring one gift for everyone no matter how many children/adults there are, but that all might have to change for us too.
