Never been to Sam's. Been to Costco and BJ's, both which are similar. Both herd you into the store like cattle, complete with that wharehouse lighting. Both have that weird mixture of grocery items and electronics, then clothes and books. Both require you to buy massive quantities, where you save money buying in bulk, and then you come away thinking...gee, now for dinner this week I have tons of eggplant parmesian and chicken picatta, full arsenal of cheezits and yogurt. Nothing else. No room in my cart for variety. When I do shop there, I only pray that we don't get a storm and lose power for all the stuff shoved into my freezer!

Ive never been at Sam's but I love that costco keeps their stores so clean. They even pressure wash their carts daily which a lot of stores never do. And they take the stuff out of their freezers weekly to clean them. Some grocery stores don't do that and the bottom where the customers can't see is just full of molding, rancid food. Plus costco has a lot of organic food which is important to me. And they take anything back.

I have never been in either one.   The closest Sam's Club is about an hour away and I don't even know where there is a Costco.  It would be pointless for me to get a membership to Sam's Club, so I don't even bother going in there.

I don't know, I've never been to Sam's Club.  I love Costco though, especially since they are starting to carry some great products....like organic chicken and salad.  I feel like over the last few years they've really expanded their products and they don't just carry junk food anymore.
