What kind of custody does this say I have?

The petitioner is awarded the legal care, custody and control of the minor child.

I wish it would say something like sole or primary custody. Visitation was awarded to the Father.... If that helps. TIA!

It's pretty much sole/primary custody.

That is sole or primary custody.  If it were joint it would say so.  Maybe ask the courts for a more specific decree stating sole custody.

you have legal custody of the child and you are the one who makes the decisions regarding the raising of said child.

You have absolute total say so regarding any decisions that would be, need to be, will be made, over said minor child.  It will only say primary if the father of the child has any say in reagrds to any decisions with the child. That is not complete control, just more than half and that is not what you posted. If what you posted is what is on the legal document then you are the sole decision maker for the minor child.  If you are not sure, go to your local court house and ask a legal clerk. They can tell you what you need to know.  :)

Sole/primary custody with father only allowed visitation.

My husband had joint custody, but the Mother had primary care and custody of the child.  Basically the Mom was supposed to consult hbs on all life decisions with DD, but really not so much.  Mom did whatever she wanted and we never got any involvement, although it did mean if she needed medical care and we had her, we didn't need to get Mom to sign, DH could do it.
