Should i be pissed

So last night i asked dh if we have enough money in our checking account for him to get meat he is sending to a friend, and for me to get my xmas cards, and our sons 5 dollar gift for his preschool christmas party. Dh said yes we should have enough money to get that and diapers if we need it before next pay check.
So i leave this morning for my appt, get the xmas card done but not paid for as the places pictures were devloping later than normal so i have to wait til later today or tomorow to get the xmas cards. So i didnt spend any money at walmaty today.
After i leave i call dh and he doesnt answer my call. All i wanted to tell him was he has to get the cards tomorrow but i figured i will tell him when he gete home from what he was doing.
So i head home and realize i forgot the xmas gift for my sons school. So i stop at our local grocery store to see what toys they have. They didnt have much of what 5years olds play with so i just got gummy worms with our card. I head to the gas station as i know they have some toys like cars and silly putty. I get a bag, i get 1 monster truck and silly putty. Total came to little over 9.00. I hand the lady my card, she scans it. It verifys and it then says declined. So i handed her my 20 that was in my pocket for gas and used it to buy my sons gift for school.
I call dh and told him we have no money in our checking account and you told me we did. He said i thought we did.
I was pissed because he knew we disdnt have the money and i told him
To wait on getting the meat for his friend for christmas until next week. He didnt listen and i ended up looking like a damn foul with no money to buy 9.00 worth of something for my sons party.
