Advice for Moms Advice for Moms

Is this really JUST baby acne? My daughter had it when she was this age, but she never had it like this. It's on both cheeks and his chin.

Took to his pediatrician to see what it was. Turns out he's sensitive to different detergents. Doc told me to use 1% hydrocortosone cream once a day, and put Eucerine cream on his cheeks twice a day. Already day 3, and he's already clearing up.

Does breast milk actually work?

Quoting Mom2Just1:

Milo has it as well. He is a month old today.  We use breastmilk or aquaphor.

so, you dont moisturize his cheeks with anything? it would be best to apply an ointment moisturizer instead of lotions or creams. Try, aquaphor, vaseline, babyganics ointment, or coconut oil.

I wound up taking him to the doctor a few days ago. Turns out that its a reaction to being so sensitive detergents. It's finally starting to clear up

Glad he is better now :) My daughter is allergic to Sodium laurel and laureth sulfate. Cut it out of everything in your house then you don't have to put steriods on your babies face :)
