Hello mama. I have 3 children and I only had a huge problem like this with one of them. You're not gonna like this, but baby is needing to be unattended to when this happens. Make sure he is okay, then leave the room and he may have to cry it out - even if it's for a long period of time in the beginning. It will last a while, yet it will diminish. It must. Don't even pick up baby. Simply go in and offer an I Love You, hug/kiss while still in crib and leave room. I soooo know this hurts you. But, for your "sanity" you must. Also, what time does baby go to bed? Is tummy full? Best wishes to you.

Thanks so much for your reply!! We have him on a sleep schedule and I feed him about 1 hour before he goes to bed we have tried everything and its just not working! Sometimes I have to rock him to sleep and then he will lay down for a while and then about 2AM he is crying to the top of his lungs and I go get him and put him in my bed and then he seems to go back to sleep  shrugging but  we want so bad  break this vicious cycle!

Mine does too. If he wakes up before dh and I are asleep, dh puts him back in bed. If it's afterward, I go spend the rest of the night in his bed.
I do that b/c I started cosleeping when he was 3 wks old. If you dont already cosleep, I advise against starting. The later you start, the harder it will be to get the LO to sleep on his or her own later.
Otherwise, some kids wake up more or longer than others. I have 4: 1 woke up like it was morning til age 6 yrs, 1 I taught to put herself to sleep @ 3 mos and turns into a pumpkin @ the same time every night, 1 put himself to sleep from 2 weeks and pretty much slept through the night, and 1 I am still cosleeping with. They're each a different person.

Thanks for your reply!!  Yes I did the cosleeping and I still do at times but the funny thing is I did it with both of my children but my daughter however was nothing like my son by 7 months she was sleeping all the way through the night but my son however is way different and very clingy confused

My son was still waking up in the middle of the night and wanting to be fed at 1 1/2! I finally put my foot down and let him cry, it took 3 nights before he learned to just put himself back to sleep. Make sure he has a paci and maybe one of those toys that light up a little when you hug them, do NOT pick him up. In the morning praise him for being such a big boy and brag about him to everyone so he can hear.

I didnt watch the video but my first was a terror. Like full on night terror temper tantrum type stuff. Doc was no help. She calmed down around 2 but didnt actually make it through a night until over 4. The other 2 not so bad 2 1/2 or so with the second one. By the third I just laughed when the doc would ask about nights that first year. Baby is just over 2 now and we are getting close. Weve tried just about everuthing over the years but time seems to be the only thing for us

I'm going to tell you this and I will probably get bashed but I don't care.  Up until my daughter was maybe 2 I would give her a full bottle with oatmeal cereal in it.  Lots of it.  It would be a really thick consistency.  This was right before bed.  I mean she would fall asleep drinking it.  If I didn't give it to her she would wake up during the night.

Naw you won't get bashed for your comment becuase trust me there is a lot of parents that do that I know a few myself that may be the issue with my son I don't know becuase he eats about 1 hour before he goes to sleep however he is a big boy so he might be waking up hungry I have no clue. But i'm glad i'm not alone
