Do you keep a change of clothes for you in the car?

Posted by   + Show Post

I know many of us keep changes for the kiddies, but there have been times that I needed to change my shirt, or one time I dumped a cup of coffee all over my jeans. After this I kept a t-shirt and inexpensive pair of pants in the trunk of the car.

:)   You go girl!!   And you have a good point. I have AAA, why am I thinking of tire changing.

Quoting Karla1948:

My idea of auto maintenance:

1. AAA membership. If I get a flat or a dead battery, they take care of it.

2. Jiffy Lube every 3 months

3. Full service car wash every other week.

4. Dealer once a year for a check-up.

Me? Change a tire? Open a hood? Not with my nails!

Quoting Bmat:

I keep extra gloves in the car. I figure if I need to change a tire, that gloves would probably come in handy. (heh! Pun! )

Quoting notjstasocermom:

me no, my 6 year old yes. I also keep extra hats and gloves in the car.

I did when I was bf-ing. I don't now, but I would if I was smart. :) I spill more easily than I'd like to admit. ;)

I did this when I was working.  I figured I might spill my lunch on my shirt or otherwise need to change what I was wearing.

We should but we dont.  I take a blanket with me now with the colder weather starting in and that helps shield clothing from messes.

A blanket is an excellent idea. I also take a hand towel in case I need to hang a towel out the window in case of break down, or to clean up spills.
