To enroll a child into dance classes?? She is 2 now, and I dont think she would be able to concentrate considering her attention span is .5 seconds. So around what age is a good age?

My little boys first season if soccer was hilarious cause he had absolutely no focus for what was going on. Once he started kindergarten it was like night and day. His second season was much better, he even made a few goals.
So maybe 5...

DD started at 4, and it worked well.  But her class had a focus on fun, so the did stuff like play freeze dance as well as learn real dance moves. I think it would have been too young for a serious dance class that spent a whole hour on learning and practicing real dance moves and routines.  Her teacher did have a class for 2-3 year olds, but there was a lot of running offstage to mommy and getting cranky, so it seemed a bit young.

I think 4 being the youngest and probably more around 5 is a good age to do it. Thank you all!! :)
