Is there anything that i do, there this person posting pictures of my kids on her FB. I have asked her over & over again to take them down since Aug, & all she did was block me, then later all deleted her page.
Every now & then Facebook send me an email, asking if i know a "list" of people and as i was looking at it i see my 5 years picture.
She is not using my 5 year daughter as her head pic and another pic of both of my daughter as her "cover" picture. Anyone in the world can see these pictures now.
I again had sent an email asking to have them removed. Onces again she blocks me.
i have my friend log on and sure enough there still up. I report it to FB again and still havent gotten anything back from them.
Is there anything i can do? I dont even post pictures of my kids on FB.
How can i get them taken off?
Once your friend posted the pic, it is out there whether she deleted it or not...not much you can do about that. The bio aunt technically didn't do anything wrong, she didn't take the picture or post it initially. The best you can do now is make sure anyone who has the chance to photo your kids knows you do not want them posted on the Internet. Is she "friends" with your friend that posted them? (I'm wondering how she found them to start with.) I doubt she is doing anything malicious (she probably doesn't see an issue in having the pic, because she didn't post it) and if you're worried about contact with the birth family, it sounds like they have a lot more access via friends of friends on FB than one picture would cause.
FB sent me a message & removed the pictures some time last night. I guess haveing everyone report it made then do something about it.
There were other reason then me just not wanting my kids pictures all over FB, for one in the adoption paper work, the Birth mom asked that the Birth family not have any contact with the child. That is why she got so mad. Also she could take me to court over this, so i have been told by other people.
But its all done and over with for now, so thanks to the people that helped!
