Hello ladies, I'm just forewarning you all that this post is a question about my healthy, not my sons. I probably could've made it shorter but i feel I need to include all these details, because I'm hoping one of you may have dealt with this before and have some suggestions.

A few weeks ago I woke up with debilitating pain in my upper stomach, right under the tip of my breast bone. It didnt last long, but I felt really nauseous and tried my best to not puke and go back to sleep. When I woke up at 3AM to get ready for my 7 day a week paper route, I felt even more nauseous then earlier and I didn't make it three minutes before running to the bathroom and puking up everything I ate the day before and some stomach acid to top it off. I took quick hot shower because ever since I can remember, hot showers are the only thing that make me feel better when I'm ANY kind of sick. BF offered to do the route for me but I thought the puking was the end of it. It wasn't. I was nauseous the entire time and couldn't help him, just sat in the backseat trying not to puke, nibbling on crackers. I made him drive me to a gas station bathroom at one point during the 2 hour paper route. I pooped and it ripped my hole apart and I again, thought that was the culprit and I'd be fine. Wrong again. After the route, we made the 30 minute trek To our NA meeting in Cleveland and I thought I was Doing better cuz I found a lay down position helped with the nausea. My son wakes up in the carseat in the back and I climb back there to lean over his seat and nurse him so hell hopefully back asleep. Not even two seconds into nursing him i puke all over the floor of our van. Stomach acid, crackers and applesauce. My sons screaming and I go Back to feeding him and he falls back asleep. Back at home about an hour later, BF has to be at work at 8 and now I'm gettin stomach cramps so bad that I'm keeled over in the fetal position clenching my stomach and teeth until the pain passes. It would hit every couple minutes and last for what felt like the longest 30 seconds of my life! My mom has to work later on so my BF calls off so he can help me throughout the day, but he still has to drop a bunch of tools off at the job site a half hour away, so this leaves my ma helping me with my son for a few hours. The pain gets worse and I'm using a heating pad and its KIND of helping. Now my entire body is aching, in parts that make absolutely no sense because they seemingly have nothin to do with stomach illnesses. Both of my hips hurt, my knees, and my entire back from top to bottom and all up and down the sides is hurting. But the lower back above my buttcrack and the way across Is throbbing, like sciatica. Mom rubs my back and heating pad helps the aches but not the stomach. I end up puking again when I go to nurse my son and he lays on my stomach the wrong way. This in turn caused me to dry heave for a few minutes because I was empty inside, and the heaving caused pain all over.

I call my doctor and she says I need to go to the ER if my pain is above a 6 on a 1-10 scale, and I had told her mine was a definite 9. Even though I KNOW those nurses HATE being asked these types of questions and they DONT have an accurate answer to give, I still asked what the wait time was anyways if I were to come right that second. 'At least expect a 4 hour wait ma'am'. And the other hospital in my area said 2 hours. There was no way in hell I could do that because I had my 16 month old son with me and no one to watch him since my ma was leaving for work soon and Tim wasn't home yet. I didn't go to the ER and within three hours the pain subsided enough that I could function, but the nauseousness was ever present. I was able to sleep that night without puking again and the next AM I called my doc again, hoping shed see me since my pain level went way down. She gave me an appointment with her nurse practitioner because she was packed. At the appointment she prescribed me Compazine for the nausea but couldn't tell me what was causing it until got my tests done that she was ordering: a full abdomen ultrasound and blood work. Got the tests done the next day and felt alot better, not many stomach cramps but still slight nausea. Two days later I got two seperate letters in the mail with my test results. Both were completely negative. Everything tested was normal. That was that? So my doc couldn't tell me what she thought it Was then?? I just decided it was the worst gas pain I've ever had and hoped it never happened again.

About a week later, a few days after Christmas, my son randomly projectile pukes right after waking up and nursing. He does this a few more times throughout the day and when I call the 24 hour baby sick line, they tell me he's just got a stomach bug/flu and to keep him hydrated. They asked if anyone had been sick recently in our home and when I mentioned my symptoms, she said I probably had the same stomach bug but everyone handles it differently and experiences different symptoms and pain. My baby got Better quickly, thank god it was the next day! I forgot about our stomach bugs because I didn't expect either of us to get sick like that again.

Well, just last night I wake up with insanely horrible stomach cramps in my upper abs, right below my Breast bone. I automatically get worried I'm getting the same crap from last time, but it doesn't get worse, it just stays a really tense, hard pain. Then it spreads through my whole stomach, and its now very painful to touch anywhere on my stomach but mostly like 2 inches out from my belly button all the way around in a circle around my navel. It's like bloated mess, tender, and it feels like very strong , stuck gas. I take a gas ex and it doesn't help. I take pepto and there's still no relief. I can also feel hard lumps on lower stomach, like alone my waist line where my jeans stop, and they're painful to press into. This stomach pain that's throughout my whole tummy also goes down all the way to below my belly button as far down as ones stomach can go, and that area is also very tender to touch. I get some farts out at some point but not as many as I know I need to. I also go poop twice thinkin this will help and it doesn't. Instead it KILLS to try pushing to go to the bathroom or push the gas out. Makes my entire stomach tighten up and spasm when I push. So pooping twice didnt help it just hurt. If there's nothing wrong me and I got every single test done and had negative results, what the hell is wrong with me!?its not the same pains as last time because its not SO severe that I can't function, and this times actually feels like I'm bloated and filled with gas but can't relieve any of it... An I seriously just experiencing flatulence AGAIN and I just get different painful cramps every time!? Cuz I can't possibly have this as a frequent thing... That'll effect my life and mothering negatively.

Has anyone else ever had this Happen? What do you do when it happens? And no it's not constipation obviously because I can poop and am always regular.i don't eat alot of gassy foods either.

EDIT: 1/9/13

After reading the very small amount of responses i received

(sorry I was just hopin more women would read it because then there'd be a much higher chance of someone knowing what this is, or what to do in my situation. But my OP was probably way too long to continue reading for most members :( , so thanks so much to all the moms who did read it entirely and take the time to offer your suggestions! Xoxox)

I decided I should edit the OP to remind you that I DID go to a doc before Xmas when the first bout of severe pain occurred, I DID get a full tummy ultrasound and blood work to rule out infection-ALL those tests came back 100% normal. It was three weeks ago that I went to the doc and I haven't had any pain since then, up until yesterday. And the two occurrences are completely different pains, and the first time was debilitating with nausea and body aches, whereas this time is just bad bad bloatedness and a tender hard stomach. And to the few commenters who said 'appendicitis, gallstones, kidney, go to your doc or ER ASAP!' : I had an ultrasound that would've showed if I had ANY of these, therefore I DONT, that's why I posted this to see wtf could be my problem.

I called the doc who ordered the tests the other day, and asked her what could be the problem if my tests are clear. She told me to go see my GI doctor, so I made an appointment and can't get in until the end of the month. I decided today I'm switching doctors too because I think mine Is a useless lazy bitch because she could've told ME I need to follow up with a specialist; but instead I had to call HER to ask HER what I should do because she KNOWS my tests came back normal and yet left it at that. Pretty much saying 'I don't know what your deal is, sorry can't help.' .... Wtf she's a DOCTOR!!!

Most recent edit for any ladies that have been giving me great advice an want to know the update, here it is if anyone's still following this thread:

Got into a local GI doc that my primary referred me to, only because my Gi doc from a different health practice couldn't get me til jan 28 & I didn't want to wait that long. So I went there expecting to get some answers and a colonoscopy scheduled. He shows up two hours later so my sons incredibly fussy and he sees me for two minutes and is rushed the entire time, not wanting to answer my questions but I kept asking away but didnt get ONE solid answer or explanation. All he said was he can't do a colonoscopy until I'm done nursing because of the anestsia used. He said he CAN do the other one that uses a throat scope because its possible to have that procedure without gettin anesthetics BUT he's 'not giving me that unless my symptoms don't subside and I absolutely feel the need to call him back.' Wtf!? He then says he's prescribing me Prevacid or Prilosec. I say 'um why? What's that for?' He Says reflux and heartburn and I say 'I know what's its FOR but why should *i* be taking this when those aren't my symptoms?' He Says 'because it may be reflux causing your pain.' I swear my jaw dropped. I had Already explained to him In detail the severe pain I was having followed by random bouts of different stomach symptoms but I said AGAIN 'um I don't think it's reflux; I have severe pain Etc etc etc, what could it be!?' He didn't give me ONE frickin helpful response! No 'well it's definitely not this' or 'it could be this' or 'let's try this'.... Nothing! He said add more fiber and water to my diet and see what foods upset my stomach. Wow doc thanks. I already knew that!!!

Do you have an urgent care center where you could go? The wait time is usually less then. If so, go right now. Like Chrismom suggested, it could be gallbladder. If you have a fever, go to ER or urgent care now. It is possible that you have a stomach bug, but it could be an inflammation of some kind. Please let us know how things turn out?

Appendicitis?  I'd go to the ER - make your mom go to work late or Tim come home NOW to take you.

gallbladder was what I am thinking. Sil had to go to the ER 4 times before they diagnosed her and took it out.

This sounds a lot like Celiac Disease. Have you ever tried eliminating gluten to see if that makes the pain go away? Or have you ever been tested for it?

"Mesenteric lymphadenitis is an inflammation of lymph nodes. The lymph nodes that become inflamed are in a membrane that attaches the intestine to the abdominal wall.

These lymph nodes are among the hundreds that help your body fight disease. They trap and destroy microscopic "invaders" like viruses or bacteria."

My grandson just had a bout of this ... can also present like a case of appendicitis.  Usually seen in children and teens, but my 60-something BIL also had an episode.  Google it and check it out.

Mesenteric lymphadenitis often causes abdominal pain. It is most common in children and teens.

oh Hun, I hope you feel better. I am not sure I know what you have. Since its in the abdominal area it could have something to do with you digestion. Or, just in case, did you take a pregnancy test?! Now, I've been actually going through some issues with abdoman too, I actually had a full ultrasound on my abdominal and pelvic area last week, but am still waiting on my results to come in. But, my sypmtoms are not like yours, I just get bad bloating, pressure, and some kind of movement. But its not painful or does not make me nauseous at all. My suggestion is to get better screening, try a catscan or seeing a gastroentologist for your symptoms. You really need to check your self asap.

I've been worried about Shelby so I'll push this up and see if she has any results yet.

Yes, I thought I included that part in my entry about how I went to my doc and she ordered tests : a full ultrasound of my abs which would cover any of those things , along with blood work. All my results were normal.
