if your son or daugheter was turning 2 yr old and then you got prego again with oppsit and you have Nurtural stuff for boy or girl would you have another baby shower? i can understand for clothes..

reason why im asking bc my sil has a daughter and turning 2 .. sil prego again and she found out having a boy and all her stuff from her 1st baby shower is Nutural ... and shes having another BIG baby shower... again just wondering...

I have a almost two year old DD and pregnant again. If this one is a boy we are going to have another shower :)

No. I didn't know what either of mine were. Had one shower for first. People sent gifts after for the 2nd but no shower. I believe a shower is for the first to get you started. You can visit and welcome the 2nd. Some are greedy and want gifts. I am not that way.

I dont like "baby showers" for a second kid, BUT they could have a "meet baby (enter name)" party after the baby is born..

I think it's in poor taste to have another baby shower for the most part.

I can understand having another one if it had been 10 years or something since the last baby was born since it is quite likely the parents no longer have any of the items from their last child. Other than that, I see it as just being greedy and materialistic.

My sister would probably throw me one even if I didn't want one lol. It's just more stuff & when you have kids you can never have too much stuff IMO :).
