Hey ladies I just joined. I have an 18 month old son who got the flu shot yesterday. As soon as we got home he took a 4 hour nap (double the normal). Then he refused to eat. Just after 8 when we were saying goodnight... He vomited... Projectile... (he has never never done this)... I finally got him to sleep at 1... now its 5 Am and we have been up since 4. HE has thrown up again. I offered milk.. he took very little. I offered water..no interest. What can I do for my little man?
I know they say the shot doesnt get you sick.. However, he has never EVER thrown up now twice in the past 16 hours since the shot,... hum... advice on what to give him etc.. please... thks!!!
who says the shot doesnt get you sick... of course the shot can get you sick. does he have a fever?
i vaccinate my children, but i am selective, and the flu shot is one of the ones i would never give my child.
he is having a reaction to the shot
thanks ladies... no fever, just really lethargic.. he just lays on his blanket in the middle of the living room floor. My husband is going to pick up some pedalite on his way home.
I just hope he get better fast.. I have my first night at work tonight and I dont know how hubby will do not being able to call me every 5 minutes
