I've been to the doctor and the ER. Help me. I have SEVERE right side pain, slightly elevated bilirubin levels, and extreme vomiting. I can't eat, can't drink. The whites of my eyes are yellow. I've had blood tests to rule out infections, viruses, pancreatic issues, and liver issues and all results were normal except the elevated bilirubin. Had a sono of my liver, pancreaus, and gallbladder...which was normal. I'm 24, only have fibromyalgia, IBS, and reactive airways. I take symbicort and albuterol. I have Implanon birth control.
What the heck is wrong with me? And what should I be pushing the doctor to do? He seems to think best plan is wait it out.
I was sent back to the ER. Had a CT scan and more blood work. CT was normal. Bloodwork, my bilirubin levels were down from my last ER visit. Doctor strongly feels it's an ulcer in my stomach or intestine so treating for that, if no improvement, then early next week suppose to get a scope procedure done, if that looks good, then a functional test for my gallbladder.
