Hi- I am a first time mom to baby girl Mia. She is 3 months old now! Today is my official first day back at work and I feel sad for leaving her. I miss her every second and I am super attached- it has been very hard for me to let go. She is at home and happy with daddy but will be starting baby care once my husband starts work again. Either way- wherever she's at- if it's not with me I feel this huge pain and sense of guilt for not being with her :-( . I guess I would love to hear how other mom's have dealt with this??

Welcome to the group! It's hard to leave them when you go back to work, or even just for a short trip to the store or something, and it's perfectly normal for you to feel guilty, but you shouldn't. You're doing what's best for your family, including her, and she's in good hands when you're working. Plus, it gives you both a chance to miss each other and something to look forward to at the end of the day. :)
