Try putting his basinett or bed beside yours so you can pet him if he wakes up or until he goes to sleep. Pet him less and less. At a  month and a half, some advise to let the baby sleep with Mom, but I found this didn't work for me.

Try filling an old sock with rice and warming it up in the microwave. When you lay him down, lay it next to him. The warmth might help comfort him.

thank you mom's i tryed all what you guys told me to do and the full combo worked. the sock and petting my son worked i justed added a blanket and a noise maker that has the sound of the heart
