My three year old son has an allergy test on
two hours. Mommas that have went through
this , what can I expect and how long did it
take for y'all? Thanks!

It's over. Thank you for your answers. They drew two columns on his back and did twenty one picks with different allergens. He's allergic to tree nuts with a sensitivity to egg yolks. :(

I have never had allergy testing but here's a bump for you.

My girl had allergy testing. We went home. A day or two later we went back. They'd never seen anyone so allergic to everything. Ugh.

Do you mean a scratch test?

When my DD had it done they did the arm.  They did a scratch of saline and of histamine above the elbow to use as baseline.  Then on the inside below the elbow they did like 20-30 small scratches of the allergens to see how she reacted.  We were there for 3 hours or so.  She was in 2nd grade so I'm not sure how they will do a 3 year old.
