He is 10 and I miss kissing his boo boo's away..

I know we all grow and change but I never thought I'd be sad to see my son growing up. Am I the only mom sad seeing their kids become more then babies, then into teens and adults? He is health, smart and willful all things most moms would to have.

Yes.  DD is only 6 and yet she rarely wants her owies kissed.  She will now kiss my owies if she sees them.  She came home with a big bruise on her hip from school and i was more worried than she was.   I am proud of her being able to get past the initial pain and get through the school day without calling me.

My son is only 7 and still wants lots of hugs and kisses.
