I would like opinions on wheather to vaccinate or to not vaccinate. My daughter has already gotten her two month shots but I am not sure if I want her to get anymore. I would like to know pros and cons, and also why you chose to vaccinate or to not. Please HELP!

This is a topic that is volatile among parents nowadays. i suggest you do the following and start digging for truthful information, not mainstream media bullshit.  Here is something to get you started on your research.  Feel free to join my group to answer more of your questions.

Here are some questions to answer for yourself in deciding about vaccination:

1. Name of the disease
2. Description of the disease
3. Length of time from initial infection to end of all symptoms
4. Infectious period
5. Normal symptoms of the disease
6. Known serious consequences of the disease
7. Proportion of persons infected developing serious consequences
8. Transmission route of the disease
9. Prevalence of the disease
10. Treatments of the disease and efficacy of those treatments
11. Relevant research about the disease
12. Name of the vaccine
13. Company that makes the vaccine
14. Contents of the vaccine
14A. The significance of whether or not the vaccine is live
15. History of development of the vaccine
16. Known side-effects of the vaccine and rate of incidence of those side-effects
17. Possible side-effects not yet acknowledged by the vaccine maker
18. Relevant research into the vaccine
19. How effective is the vaccine at preventing the disease?
20.What is the vaccine meant to do? (Many vaccines are not meant to prevent infection or transmission).
21.Number of cases reported each year.
22.Number of deaths reported each year from the vaccine and natural disease.

I read the Vaccine Book by Dr. Sears. It had excellent info. He recommends a slower vaccine schedule.

I vacinnated both of my children on schedule but if I had another one now I think I would vacinnate on a slower schedule. Its alot of shots of different stuff at one time for a baby

There is a natural birth and parenting group on the site. Some of the moms do not vaccinate, others do, some selective vax. They could help you a lot with why they do or don't vax.

I agree! I vaccinated all 3 of my girls. But if I have any more I'll vaccinate at a slower schedule.

This is a link to my facebook page where i share a LOT of resources for making a decision. Remember, iform yourself and dont let other people push you into anything you arent comfortable with!!! A good start is to go to the CDC website, where they list all of the ingredients. Then from there you can look through the risks, then i would suggest you look for testimonies on BOTH sides of the debate!!! :) Good luck! This is something NO ONE PERSON should decide FOR you. You should be as informed as possible to make the decision that is right for your family, one way or the other.

The only shot i don't recommend AT ALL is the flu shot.... there are hundreds of strains that can be just as harmful and or worse than what it protects against, and it just gives you a flu to keep you from getting that same flu lol!

My advice - make a decision now to delay. That gives you time to do all the research you feel is necessary without feeling any pressure if you haven't reached a decision by the time she is 'due' for her next shots.

Ther eis some great advice though i nthe answers you have already gotten! Do what you believe is best. Don't let anyone pressure you or rush your decision

This is NOT just a simple yes or no type question! LOL!  I vaxed with all 3 of my kids, on schedule and had no problem.  And if given the choice I would do it again.  But this is a personal choice, like BF or FF.  I feel that childhood diseases are back on the rise and would not take the chance of losing my child to something that I could have prevented.
