I would like opinions on wheather to vaccinate or to not vaccinate. My daughter has already gotten her two month shots but I am not sure if I want her to get anymore. I would like to know pros and cons, and also why you chose to vaccinate or to not. Please HELP!
I don't believe all the scary stuff about vaccinations being bad or even potentially bad. What I made my decision on was, how would I feel if I didn't get my kids vaccinated and then the got those diseases? I'd feel super guilty and like a bad parent.
However, later I got lazy. Like middle school time? Then I got whopping cough but they hadn't been updated against that. OMG, I felt so bad.
I do not have to fear Polio as my grandparents and great grandparents did. Vive le vaccines.
I vaccinated at a slower pace. One shot per visit only. I researched the hell out of vaccines which you should too. You have to read up on it and make your own decision. I am glad I did what I did. I never agreed to giving a kid so many vaccines at once. I also only gave what was necessary for school. You also need to find a pediatrician who won't bully you. I had to switch when my son was a baby since his 1st pediatrician was an asshole.
I don't think anyone is catching polio with or without the vaccines.
Quoting IntactivistMama:
We vaccinate on schedule. I love vaccines.
