Last Friday, I attended a birthday party for my BF's one year old Granddaughter. My daughter was unable to go as she had to work. i bought the baby a little tikes kitchen set and some outfits along with pajamas, bathing supplies and three puzzles. His family is NOT well off but that is NOT the issue. My daughter let everyone know she was called into work and not able to attend. The following morning, she received a text message from his daughter wondering when she could stop over with the baby's gifts that she bought her. WHAT???!!! I was appauled. Yes, she has some gifts she bought the baby from the mall, sitting here...but is this okay to ask??????????
That seems very rude to me. I can't believe the self-entitled attitudes of some raising kids now.
So very rude! Who calls and asks where their birthday gifts are?! Makes it sound like the only reason she was invited was just for the gifts :(
