Hi Hi

How topical, I've released a cookbook in the USA called 4 Ingredients - Gluten Free and in my native Australia have just yesterday released 4 Ingredients - Gluten Free Lactose Free.

You'll love it, as EVERYTHING is soooooooooo simple and easy, quick and YUMMY!

Beautiful breakfasts, lunches, soups, dinners, sides, desserts, cookies, cakes and SOOOO MUCH MORE!

Here is a snippet of last night's post ...

wow now I am hungry and want to make it, but I don't have any money :( LOL. I guess I will have to wait til my pay check LOL>

I too am like YOU ... I LIVE by EASY, EVERYDAY & ECONOMICAL!!!!

4 Ingredients achieves this by focusing on recipes that;

1. Are made with 4 or fewer ingredients

2. Explained in only 4 sentences (on average)

3. Uses EVERYDAY REGULAR ingredients

4. Tastes AMAZING!

Here's an example ...

4-Ingredient CHICKEN PIE (and it's GOOOOOOD)

Serves 6

  • 2 sheets puff pastry
  • 10 oz. can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cooked chicken without skin, cubed
  • 1 lb. snap frozen mixed veggies, thawed

Preheat oven 375F. Line a non-stick pie dish with first sheet of pastry. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl, season with sea salt and pepper and pour into pastry. Cover with remaining sheet, seal edges well by pressing with a fork. Trim the edge to neaten, then cut several slits in the pie lid and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until lid is golden brown. Allow to cool for 15 mintues and thicken.

Optional: Brush with beaten egg or milk for a very presentable finish.

Happy Cooking

so everyone that I have came across that says their ingrediants are inexpensive use velveeta and all this other stuff that cost an arm and a leg. are these ingrediants going to last a few meals if you use velveeta or is it a one time use. Also, are the ingrediants found at walmart and not whole foods? I am not judging, but I don't want to buy a cook book, yet again that the ingrediants will cost an arm and a leg just to cook one meal or an arm and a leg to get the ingrediants for a couple of meals. I am very poor so inexpensive is not the typical inexpensive that everyone else considers.

hi Hun

that is EXACTLY what 4 Ingredients is all about ... It's my desire to make things that those I make them for go "FANTASTIC! YUM, how did you make that?" Then I know I've served up a winner, two major things to remember;

1. TASTE is THE most important thing, so when you cook with just 4 Ingredients or less, make sure you select an ingredient that adds full, rich flavour.

2. PRESENTATION - food is first eaten with the eye, take a minute to present it nicely. Always plate from the centre out, add a sprinkle of edible flowers or herb leaves and stems

Follow these two tips and you'll have MANY restaurant quality dishes.

Here is a sweet one to add to the others that my boys just LOOOVE making ...

MARSHMALLOW DREAM BARS

Makes 10

* 4 tbsp. butter
* 1 bag mini marshmallows
* 6 cups Rice Krispies / Rice Bubbles

Place the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, and once melted add the mini marshmallows (reserve 1/2 cup). Once melted, remove from heat and add the Rice Krispies and mix well. Add remaining marshmallows and stir to incorporate. Spread into a parchment paper (baking paper) lined 13 x 9 " tray. Cool, and cut into slices to serve ... Yummy!

Steaks, burgers, grilled fish or chicken ... Toasted sandwiches, portioned pasta, planned menus and recipes will ALL help prevent waste and left overs!

Hope this helps ...
