When do you take your lo the dentist? Mine is 6 and a half month and I need to know if now is goodor first tooth better?

 i didnt take my daughter til she was 2.5 or 3yrs old..somewhere around there!

Mine were older too. I think about 3-4 yrs old and when I took my dd in they told me it was still alittle early for her to be coming in. I would call your local dentist and ask them at what age is good for first cleaning and xrays. I think its way too early to be thinking about that unless you think there is a problem

first tooth is when its adviced...just wipe guums til then

Doctors usually suggest first tooth however my lo is 9 months old and is working on 8 teeth. At her last check up 1 week ago pediatrician said to wipe teeth for now. I plan on taking her to actual dentist around 1.5. Still unsure speak with your dentist for a referral to a children's dentist.

The pediatric dentist told me age 1. They don't do much, they just check for any obvious problems. That is what we've always done.

 My kids were 3 when they started seeing a dentist.

My dentist said not untill 2 unless you have concerns or there's a problem before then.
I would call the dentist you plan on seeing and ask what age they suggest.

I am taking my daughter at 3. No dentist I've talked to has advised taking them in before then.
