Yeast Infection Question

Posted by   + Show Post
I am almost 6 months pregnant. I've had clear discharge with a whitish tent sometimes. I have not had a yeast infection before. My doctor is closed till Monday due to weather. I could go to the ER but feel as if it would be pointless to sit for 4 hours for a yeast infection.
From what I've read online I have all the symptoms of a yeast infection. Can I buy an over the counter cream and be fine? The pharmacy said that normally a certain one is prescribed by the doctor and the pharmacy carries it over the counter. I trust the pharmacist since he is a good friend and previous doctor.
What should I do? Is it ok to wait till Monday, if I can even get in?

Try taking some proboitics and continue to take them through your pregnancy to keep yeast at bay. I know there is a product called Pearls which is a probiotic and some other over the counter ones too. Also eat lots of yogurt.
