I know that as a child I wanted what I saw advertized on tv, My children didn't watch commercial tv until they were older. What about your children?

We watch netflix when we watch TV so there aren't any advertisements

My DS is funny with commericals, and is influnced by them, as soon as one comes on he generally is like, " Aww, I hate commercial." But if it a comemercial for a toy he wants, and I am in the kitchen, it is " Mom , mom come look at this commercial, I want that. "

Yes. I want STOMPEEZ mommy and dream lights. Im like dear God make it stoop.. I let her watch some Nick Jr. and Disney when I have to cook or clean something I dont need her near.

Yes until we explained commercials to them.

Although, we've only had "real" tv a couple times in their lives. We just have netflix and hulu plus.

If happen to have regular tv on. Most the time they watch netflix. But yes they do when they see one. They are good at getting there attention.

Everyone is influenced by ads.

Ads are not just on commercial TV. They are all around us.

They are in the banners on our web sites, billboards in our streets, spots on our radio programs, signs in our stores, in our reading material, and more.

They are even, subtly, in every program, and movie, we watch. That Windows Surface that your favorite character is using in your favorite show is called "product placement", and is advertising.
