I am not comfortable during my visits with my psychiatrist. she seems angry and pre-occupied. Most appointments scheduled with her, I'm kept waiting 1 hour Speaking with the other patients, it's the same with them! I need the anti- depressant she prescribes, so I feel trapped.
There is another therapist in the suite.... will it be difficult to shift doctors?
You need to be comfortable, or your time there is counterproductive. Switch therapists.
Definitely switch. It shouldnt be too difficult, thought it might be embarassing if you see her in the hallway.
I would definitely try to switch Doctors. It's very unprofessional for her to act like that, and if You're not comfortable around her then you're not going to make any progress into getting any better. Definitely switch, and make sure she knows why you chose to go elsewhere so she can work on whatever issues she is having herself because it's effecting her patients!
I say try to switch. Also if you know anyone else who needs these kinds of drugs ask them about their doctor.
Your nit married to her... If shes nit working for you, id find someone else. Call your insurance, find another. Your ob/gyn or primary care physician can refill 1 or 2 if you dont find one in time for script to renew.
through. It depends on the two docs caseload as far as how. easy it will be to switch or not.
If you are uncomfortable with the doc you are seeing I don't see how it can be worse!
I would switch or look for a totally different office for someone i was more comfortable with.
