My DD wanted to play at the play ground they have at our apartment after school. Since its nice out and the DS is feeling better I said yes.

Most of the parents out here let their kids out with out watching them. Witch drives me crazy.

Well anyways there was this little boy about 3 (he was black) out there with his bike. And other older kid about 6 or 7(he was white) tied to take it from him. At first since I didnt know either kid I just watched it. Until the older kid pushed the younger one and hit him and called him the n word.

I told the older one that that wasn't nice of him and that he should be nice and help him up and say sorry. Well that made the older one mad and he came over to me and slapped me in the face.

I calmly told him that that wasn't nice either and asked him what apartment was his. And he told me so I went up to his house and told his dad what he had done

Would any of u have done it any drifent then me

I would be pissed. How old was he? Did his parents make him apologize?

He just looked at me like I was crazy. And told his son to go in side

He looked about 6 or 7. And I don't think he did. I know he didn't to me. His dad just looked at me like I was crazy and told him to go inside

wow. My kids would be in so much trouble that their grandkids would still be grounded for the first twenty years of their life!

At that point I would have called the police.

You live in a complex? I'd probably file a complaint with the super too!

I think you did everything right, beginning to end.

Me...I think I'd have done the same, even though it must have been wicked hard to go knock on the door to tell the dad.  I think telling the mom of the 3 year old would be good too.  And maybe make a note of day and time this happened for your records for the inevitable time when you find yourself calling CPS or the police over some future foolishness you are bound to witness from this family.

I took the little boy home be4 I took my kids home and told his mom what happened and who did it. So that if she wanted to make a complaint she could.she thanked me and said she was happy I was there. ( I didn't want to leave the little one there incase the older one came back)
