Kintergarden registration is tomorrow. I have the list of what to bring, but it doesn't say if DS has to come with me. He has a doctor appt tomorrow afternoon as well, so I wanted to register him while he was in preschool so we didn't have to run around all day. So.. does he need to be with me?

It says screening is april 23 &24 so I know he needs to be there then.

Probably not then. You could always call the school in the morning to find out

We were asked to bring our child for assessments to see which teacher would be a good fit and what their academic standing would be... You know, so they dint out all the kids who have trouble with reading in the same class... While the assessments were taking place the parent had to fill out some forms, speak with the nurse, the principal and visit our library...

Id call in the morning.

My son didn't need to go to the registration just the screening.

I think it's safe to register him while he's at preschool. :-)

He doesn't need to go to registration.  BUT, be prepared for them not to register him if you don't have a birth certificate.  It's how they prove he is your son/that you are his legal guardian.  Otherwise, anyone could just go register any kid at a school.
