That's the T1 ranked server at our restaurant...The highest and "best" server we apparently have. I just started a month ago and her new boyfriend (also a server there) has been rude to me since the day he started. Out of nowhere, for no reason. I can't work like this. I am going to start looking for something else and put in my 2 weeks as soon as I find a new place to work. This is just the straw that broke the camels back, I'm over it.
Edit: Just to be clear, I'm not friends with with either of them. This was posted on our group page that we use to get our shifts covered, ect. We must be added to this page, per our management. And I do "go to work, do my job, and ignore him" I have for about a month. He doesn't change. When he first started being rude, I fired right back. That didn't stop him, so I started being overly nice. That didn't stop him, so I started just ignoring him. When he asks for help, I still help him (we work at a restaurant that promotes teamwork) and have never started anything with him. What makes me want to quit is that he brought up my child...he had no right or reason to do that. And these comments were posted the day after the orginal photo.
The backstory: Christina (T1) was closing Sunday night and suposed to check our sections. She said my sugar bowls needed to be redone, so I redid them. I couldn't find her to check out, and my 17 month old was out side with my SO, so I just gave my checkout to my manager and left. About half an hour later she posted a picture of my checkout and started with the rude comments.
Today I talked to my manager, he said he couldn't do anything about it directly because it happened on Facebook, not in the restaurant. He brought Jake in and told him this behavior must stop. Then told me he didn't want me to go to HR, but I'd have no choice if it kept up. I am happy with what happened, and we'll see how it continues. Thanks for the support mommas!
