Heating up whole milk?

When you finally switch your baby from formula/breastmilk, to whole milk, did you heat it up, or give it to them cold? My son will be turning 1 next month, while I haven't gave him whole milk yet, I am preparing myself. I don't remember with my daughter whether I heated it up or not.

My two older children I didn't heat it up but that was because both were off the bottle by a year and used sippy cups.  Now my youngest he was a little more attached to his bottle and I guess him being my last I didn't push it as hard so he had his a few months longer.  I only heated up his evening bottle and then only to luke warm.  Hope that helps :)

I switched my sons by giving them a cup of cold milk.  If you don't want to do this, then warming it a little bit for the bottle since this is what they are used to., then cold after a few days, would work.

My son is four at the end of this month and will still only drink his warm.

My daughter will drink hers either way. She's 20 months. If they will drink it cold, that's the best way to give it IMO since it's easier.

No, but we don't drink cow's milk, we use almond or coconut milk and it is gross warm.
