Boys and their friends

Ok.  Here's the situation.  My son  J  has a friend in our neighborhood who I believe is rude.  He is 6 years old.  Some of the things he does is he will ask J to play a game outside, then stop and decide he wants to go play video games...without J.  If J speaks to him, he looks at J, and keeps walking, completely ignoring him.

I am not sure how to deal with this child's behavior.  My son is hurt by the way he acts, but still wants to play with him.  Should I say something to the child?  He is not being mean or bullying, just ignoring.  This little relationship was not always like this.  There was a time when these two boys would play together for hours.  I don't know what has changed.  I have asked his mother if everything is ok, and she wasn't aware of a problem.

Advice??

Thank you

How old is your son?   The other little boy may be going through something that no one is aware of or he has not been taught to honor his plans.
