She will be 8 in Sept and has always been a big and tall kiddo. I am not sure how tall she is right now but she weighed 102 the other day. She is active and eats well. I have 2 other girls that are younger than her and can out eat her in a heart beat. I have had her checked for diabetes and her thyroid checked as well and all in normal. We do not drink soda or any drinks made with sugar, except for juice once or twice a day, other than that we all just drink water. She eats fruits and veggies every day and we do not eat a lot of snack food, unless it is a special occasion. She is also pretty active and spends a lot of time playing out side with my daycare kiddos and her sisters. Her doc is not concerned at all, he says she is healthy. I am just looking for any advice as to what else I can do to help her weight stay under control.
