Guitars

Does anyone's child play the guitar? I need to get my 7yo a guitar, but don't know what size. I see they come in 1/2 size, 3/4 size and by inches...what size is appropriate for a 7 yo? I found some good deals online, and don't know of anywhere near me that sells them, which is why I can't just take her in and see. Thanks for any help!

A 7 year old may be able to handle a 3/4 size guitar.

Is he going to take lessons somewhere? Ask the instructor what he would prefer him to learn on.

I'd say 3/4

This is the one we got for my son who is 7.  I think it is 3/4 size.  He will start lessons in a few weeks so I hope we did good with the right one.  It seems to be the right size for him.  Here is the link. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000IGCCTI/ref=oh_details_o08_s03_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I would ask someone locally because depending on his size he might be more comfortable with something bigger or smaller. My son has an eletric and 3 acoustic guitars but I have no idea what sizes. He's a big 6 year old.

I would call a music studio and ask.
