Use a baby hair brush and scrub the head.

It's gross looking and annoying lol but of no real concern.

Oil and fentle rubbing I assume would work, my kids didn't have it.

It will go away eventually. It doesn't bother baby, so why stress? My one year old still has a little bit, but my 2.5yr old didn't have it past age 7m.

I literally just got done dealing with this. I use baby oil, rub it on the scalp and then wait a little while. It'll soften all that crap up, then use a fine tooth comb or baby brush. It'll take it off the scalp easily. The only downfall is it takes two real good hair washings to get the oil out, but it works like a charm!

I always just used a toddler toothbrush in soft circular motions every time I washed heads.  This will help to pull that dead dried skin up off the scalp so it can be rinsed away with the shampoo.   I wouldn't pick at it though, as this can cause irritation.

Its harmless, no worries.  You can put a dab of olive oil on her head, let it sit for 2 minutes, and comb her hair in the opposite direction.  I don't think my dd's cradle cap went away until closer to a year old.

I bought a bottle of Cradle Cap Care at Walmart when my daughter had it bad. Worked wonders.

I used breast milk to treat it.

I also used breastmilk & that cleared it up within a few days. Before I did that I was doing all the oils & brushes & it didn't work.
