So I'm a mom of 3 boys, my oldest (7) has some learning disabilities and such. He is in 2nd grade but at a kindergarten/first grade level. My middle son (5) is in kindergarten but can do some of my 7yo's work. Will the schools test my 5yo to see if he can skip a grade or will they wait until he is a little bit older. He is constantly getting in trouble in school and no matter what punishments received he continues with his behavior. His teacher, father, myself, and my husband are thinking he is totally bored with his class work.

You could look into a tag program. It's a talented and gifted program.

I would talk to the teacher and see what they normally do in that situation.  Some schools have gifted and talented programs and others do not.

I agree with this

I hear your concern on this... Have you talked his school counselor about it?

We had another IEP meeting yesterday for my 7yo. Now that I'm pretty sure it's adjusted to do him some good I can focus on my 5yo. Will be calling his teacher today to see about setting up a meeting and get the ball rolling.
