 My kids have watched as my in-laws have cared for both sets of their parents. That's just something they have been raised with. My youngest even had a plan worked out as far as what day which one of the kids would make us dinner each week.  :)

 Our boys are 21 and 18. Our 18yo would be there for us, thru anything. Our 21yo likely would not. He isn't a horrible person, he just isn't the type that would be able to handle it
