Advice for Moms Advice for Moms

one naughty little boy and three gallons milk.

So my son, who is almost three, gets into my fridge and tries to pur himself some milk. He does this the moment one of us is distracted. Every time he spills all of it. I've tried locks on the fridge door. He is smart enough to unlock them or just rip it off. So what now? Any kind of locks that a three yr old stubborn child can't break?

can you put the locks way up high on the fridge and put the milk in the top shelf? or is he a climber? i have no advice...my kids were never climbers or got into things that badly :(

What about putting a shout alarm on the fridge rather than a lock. This way you can hear when he does it am attend to him rather than trying to stop it

Maybe find a way he can pour his own milk without spilling it? A small tupperware jug with a flip top might be light enough for him to handle.

Get a small thing of milk of his own that he is allowed to pour himself.

Have him some cups made up that he can just grab and go.

Keyed metal padlock....

How about some sort of discipline for the child??

I'd discipline him and if possible make some cups up with milk already in them so that he can grab one if he wants some.
