Spring Cleaning Challenge Day 3: Reorganize Your Kids' Rooms

Welcome to Day 3 of the Spring Cleaning Challenge!

Are your kids' rooms overflowing with toys and clutter? Time to clean them out and get your kids to help if they're big enough. Go through closets and bag up any clothes or toys that never get used to donate. Toss out any broken toys. Organize movies, CDs, and books. Then dust and vacuum. Don't forget to do the same to their playroom if they have a separate play area.

Do your kids help clean their rooms?
Are they good about keeping their rooms clean?
What other chores do your kids do around the house?

since it's spring break this week, this sounds like a good thing for her to do :-)

I was in my children's rooms yesterday, and they are definitely going to be sorting this week!

My teenagers room is so unorganized. I swear my eye starts to twitch when I walk in there!

We did this last month just before our community flea market. We got rid of a lot of stuff.

My kids rooms are actually clean. They are 8 and 10. I have them pick up their rooms and make their beds daily and I will go in and dust, sweep, mop and do windows. My kids really don't have chores. They help out where needed :)

Evan (my grandson who lives with me) is only 3 so we do have to help him clean up his room.  His mommy is best at that - I just want it done quickly so I do it myself.  Last night he vacuumed the kitchen with the little vacuum/sweeper while I vacuumed with the big cleaner. He said "we are a team!".  He likes to be included.  He helps load/unload the dishwasher and sweep the back porch, too.
