I Finally Left Him...

I have been in a relationship with the father of my two children from seven years. For the last three years he has been abusive. At first it was whenever we got into a very heated argument, but for the last year, the smallest things tick him off and he goes from happy to choking me in five seconds. Last Tuesday was the worst. I cant take it anymore. I told him to leave or else i will call the police, and he did. I was too afraid to stay the night with my children so i packed a bag and we went to a hotel for the night. The next day I changed the locks and installed 2 bolts. He has been calling and texting but i have not answered or responded. At this point, he has been gone almost 3 days. I am unsure of the next step on giving him his belongings. I DO NOT want him back at my apartment. I am wondering if i should drop his clothes off to his dad's house  -show up unannounced- or will that cause too much drama? I just dont know what to do next.

That is an idea. Drop them off but yes it could cause unnecessary drama. Another idea, set up a time he can come get them, but have a police escort for yours and your kids safety.

def this...or put his stuff out in the yard and still have a police escort with you when he comes to pick his stuff up..Do NOT do this alone...

Be safe. He will not change, and your and your children are in danger. Maybe you should consider moving?
