yes, it's true.

I let my just turned 3 year old daughter hop in the shower with me, but by the time she's 4 it won't happen.

my mother said I bathed with her numerous times & I can't remember so I guess that's a great thing right? lol it's a different story when your childs 8 and wants to hop in.

I bathed and showered with my daughter from the time she was a newborn. It was easier for me to hold her and bathe her and then pass her off to my husband.I stopped doing it full time when she was old enough to sit in the tub unsupported but she'd still occasionally shower with me.It doesn't happen much now that she's 7 but if we're on a time crunch, sure.I'm sure it won't happen much anymore just because it doesn't save much time now but why should it be taboo just because she's older?

not that it's a bad thing at an older age, just depending with the child and parents comfort zone with eachother because he/she is older to remember bathing with their parent and identify body parts.

I just got out of the bath with my 4 month old dd. My three year old dd jumps in with me sometimes. My five year old ds isn't typically allowed because he's very curious and tries to touch which I'm not ok with.

I haven't bathed with my two year old: a while. I shouldn't be worried if he wanted to though. I think four is a fair cut off age.

I have all boys.. but I've never bathed with them. Not because ita taboo. But for two reasons 1 I have ms, and have had a stroke. So I can get weak. Add water.. 2 my bathtime is me time. Either a book, or something on netflix. When kids are asleep.

She could identify body parts before she turned 3...She remembers bathing with me at a younger age.She still sees me naked. We've just never made it a taboo subject so it doesn't bother us.Of course her dad doesn't walk around completely naked and she doesn't shower or bathe with him but that's a little different.

I've showered with mine since they were born. Even my sons. Ds13 no, ds9 did until last year. Some times in a hurry. Dds hop in the shower with me at the pool stil locker room style showers. To us it's just a shower boys have those parts and girls have these parts. No dds don't shower with their brothers.
