I'm wondering if it's normal for my 1 month old to constantly want to be in my arms. I don't want to spoil her but I know she's still very young

Aww, I miss that stage. You cannot spoil an infant. She needs you right now and everything about you is a comfort to her.

Very normal. She needs the security of her mama. You can't spoil a baby. Try wearing her so you can have your hands free.

Being held is a need not a want at that age. You can never spoil a child with love.

Independence is created by holding you baby. Forcing independence by putting them down only delays it. When you answer their cries they know you will come so they are more likely to take chances. If you let them cry then they never know when you will come so will be less likely to take chances.

YES!  You can't spoil an infant.  It's not possible.
