Heat rash on my 1mth old face

My baby is 5 weeks old and has a horrible heat rash on her face. The pediatrician said it will go away on its own and that there really isn't anything they can prescribe for it. Is there any home remedy I can do for her? I honestly have never had a heat rash so I'm not sure what to do for her.

You could try some coconut oil, it's all natural and safe to use and works pretty well for a lot of stuff. Other than that, there isn't a whole lot you can do for heat rash, other than waiting it out.

Coconut oil may help. But your ped is right.

Heat rash happens when sweat ducts are blocked. Let the skin air dry and try calamine lotion.

Dress your child like an adult is dressed for the heat.

That happened with my daughter... we didnt put anything on it, we just changed the way we were dressing her at night. A light onese (sp?) a light blanket and it cleared up on its own.

I would just let it be and make sure baby isn't getting overly warm still.
